To enroll in DeWitt Public Schools, you must reside within the district boundaries or be able to attend according to board policy. To confirm your address is in-District , use the Clinton County Property Search.

All students are enrolled at the Board of Education office located at 2957 W. Herbison Road. Look for Door #16, a separate entrance at the south end of the Middle School. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

In addition to the completed enrollment forms (found below), please bring the following required documentation:

  • Original Certified Birth Certificate with raised seal (original will be verified & a copy made for student file)

  • Two (2) proofs of Residency

  • Immunization Record, up-to-date

The permission form listed below is required for each child attending DeWitt Public Schools and must be filled out each school year. This year the form also includes a COVID-19 Screening agreement.

For the health and safety of our students, the local public health department asks that students be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 before entering the school. The health department and the CDC do not recommend these screenings be done at the schools due to the interruption this would cause to your child’s education.

We ask that each parent/guardian perform student screening prior to sending their child to school, any school activities, or sports.
