APRIL 10, 2026 - KINDERGARTEN & YOUNG 5 CLASSROOM SESSIONS, by appointment
In an effort to create a comprehensive process for placing our Young Five and Kindergarten students, we are scheduling sessions for students who have submitted their online registration paperwork. Sessions will allow school teachers and staff to gather additional information that will aid in the selection process, as well as classroom placement.
During the appointed session, children will participate in group activities with other students in a classroom setting. Our certified staff will be gathering information through observation during the session. While children are in their session, parents will attend a meeting to learn more about Schavey Road Elementary, Transportation and Food Service. The District Registrar will be available to assist with Online Registration questions and collect any outstanding registration documents (ie. birth certificate, immunization records, residency proofs).
FREE HEARING, VISION AND DENTAL ASSESSMENTS, by appointment - DATE TO BE DETERMINED
If your preschool, physician or dentist hasn’t screened your child within the past 6 months, this is an opportunity to have the assessments completed. The Mid-Michigan District Health Department will be providing assessments, by appointment, at Schavey Road Elementary on a date to be determined.
Classroom Session signup will be posted here soon.
