Curriculum

The role of the Director is to work with staff on establishing processes that help buildings be efficient and effective given the dynamic nature of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accountability. This is a position of supporting teachers and principals in meeting the diverse needs of all learners as they strive to realize the mission and vison of DeWitt Public Schools.

This subcommittee of the Board of Education is responsible for keeping all district stakeholders informed about curriculum, instruction, and improvement efforts. It  meets 4-6 times per year to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to interact with district officials and provide feedback regarding curriculum and improvement initiatives. Notes from this committee’s meetings, as well as other documents used by this committee, are posted.
