DeWitt Public Schools will be announcing their School of Choice openings for the 2018-19 school year mid April 2018. Please check back on this website at that time for the 2018-19 openings. Information concerning the DeWitt Public Schools 2017-18 School of Choice Program announcement can be found below. For additional information, please call 668-3005. 

Award-winning DeWitt Public Schools announced the following openings for their 2017-18 School of Choice program during the spring of 2017:

Kindergarten - Limited openings
1st Grade – Limited openings
2nd Grade - Limited openings
3rd Grade - Limited openings
4th Grade - Limited openings
5th Grade - Limited openings
6th Grade – Limited openings
7th Grade – Limited openings
8th Grade – Zero (0) openings
9th – 12 Grade – Zero (0) openings

Applications were available on this website or at the Board of Education Office from Wednesday, April 26 to Thursday, May 25, 2017 for nonresident students residing within the Clinton County Regional Education Service Agency (CCRESA) or nonresident students residing within a contiguous Intermediate School District of DeWitt Public Schools. The deadline for submitting applications was Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM. Siblings of schools of choice students admitted to the district may also attend DeWitt Public Schools. The district will not provide transportation. DeWitt Public Schools reserves the right to decline admission to students who have been suspended from another school district. If more students apply than what there are openings for, a random drawing will be held.
