Procedures For Setting Up An Account and Making A Deposit
- Create an Account at WWW.SendMoneyToSchool.com You will need your student's ID number to sign up. This number can be found on your Middle School or High School class schedule. If you need additional assistance please call Sandy Leach or Susie Tempelman at 517-668-3138.
- We do not allow students to charge a meal. If the food service department does not receive payment when a student reaches a negative balance then an alternative meal will be offered until payment is received. If you have an e-mail address you will receive a weekly e-mail message regarding your student(s) low balance.
- Making a Deposit into your Student's Account
•1) You can make a Deposit Online with the following charge cards: Visa or MasterCard.
The online deposit provides a safe, secure, and convenient way to make a deposit into your student's meal account. Please note it takes approximately 15 minutes to process each deposit.
•2) In addition, a check or cash can be deposited at any school building. Cashiers accept deposits during meal periods at the Junior High School & High School. All buildings have a food service deposit box near the front office/cafeteria area. Please check to make sure the student's name is on the envelope when making a deposit. You can make a deposit for the whole family on one check. We would just need to know all of the student's names you wish to make a deposit for and the school they attend. Deposits are made daily before lunch each daily at Fuerstenau, Schavey, Scott, and Herbison woods. To keep the lunch period on schedule we will be depositing any funds received during lunch into the next days deposit.
•3) Checks can be addressed to: DeWitt Public Schools Food Service Dept.
Parents are reminded to make a deposit to their student's lunch account before the first day of school to avoid delays. Payments can be mailed to Food Service, PO Box 800, DeWitt, MI 48820. Or, credit card payments can be made with a username and password.
